Hi, I’m Barbara — a creative designer, illustrator, and screen printer with a big love of colour, pattern, and visually

joyful design.

I’ve spent over 25 years working in the design industry and in art and design education, which means I really understand how good design works — not just aesthetically, but for real people and real customers. Alongside my design work, I run my own screen-printing business, creating bold wall art and printed products that I sell at makers markets and craft fairs, where I love meeting people and seeing my work head out into the world.

I work from my home studio in the North East, usually accompanied by my doggy studio sidekick, Ziggy, who keeps a close eye on proceedings.

I’m friendly, flexible, and known for going the extra mile — so if you need a speedy turnaround, you’ll often find me working outside the usual 9–5 to get things done.
